Shipping

Some fees are applicable depending on the total purchase amount, products dimensions and region of purchase in Canada.

For any order of less than 99.00$ before taxes, the shipping fee for Quebec & Ontario is a base charge of 19.95$ (some conditions apply*). We do not ship orders outside Canada.

A fee of 59.90$ (39.95$ + 19.95$ base charge) is applicable for British-Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewa, Manitoba, New-Brunswick, Prince-Edward-Island, Nova Scotia and Ontario & Quebec exceptions.

For any order of 99.00$ or more before taxes, get free shipping in Quebec & Ontario (some conditions apply*). The free shipping policy is applicable on single shipments only and includes all rebates and promotional codes.

A fee of 39.95$ is applicable for British-Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewa, Manitoba, New-Brunswick, Prince-Edward-Island, Nova Scotia and Ontario & Quebec exceptions.

The free shipping policy is not available for commercial and resale accounts (B2B), either on placide.com website, in-store, by phone, email, fax or any other processing modes.

We only ship complete orders, once all products are received in-store.

*Oversized and heavy products weighing more than 50 lbs (by weight or by volume) are subject to additional shipping fees. A pictogram indicates these products in the online catalogue. These costs are applicable on any single unit sold, regardless of the total amount of an order, and differ depending on the delivery address:

For oversized products (by weight or by volume) with the appropriate pictogram, the "pick-up in-store" option is available. A member of our team will contact you with a shipping fee quote if you decide to have your order shipped.

The free shipping policy does not apply to addresses considered as remote as well as Labrador, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon and other Canadian destinations requiring ocean or air freight services.         

We use standard shipping services from Canada Post, Purolator and other freight carriers. Additional fees can apply for deliveries requiring a hydraulic platform (tailgate).

Orders that are picked up in store will not receive additional discount.

We offer daily delivery service to our commercial customers, from our warehouse to your workplace, on Montreal South Shore (some conditions apply). You can also benefit from competitive prices using prepaid & charge shipping services. We also send orders with main freight carriers such as Purolator, GLS, DHL, UPS and FedEx.

Order processing

Our team makes every effort possible to process your order quickly and effectively, and you can expect it to ship between 1 to 3 business days if all products are in stock. For orders deliveved with our own delivery service or global delivery service (Purolator, GLS, Loomis, etc.), we are not responsible for the products once they are delivered to the customer if he is not home at the time of delivery.

We cannot ship orders to P.O. boxes and we cannot send certain dangerous or flammable goods via above-mentioned transports, in agreement with the current Canadian regulations.

To avoid delivery delays and additional costs, it is important for the customer to fill the ordering form as accurately as possible, such as a complete and valid address and postal code. We are not responsible for delayed, lost, or misdirected shipments due to inaccurate provided data. Any subsequent shipment will be billed to the customer.

Stock level

We try to maintain a sufficient inventory of products to meet the demand of our clients. Stock levels on the placide.com website are not live but updated once daily, therefore actual stock levels may differ from the quantity shown online. We will contact you if such a situation occurs.

The availability of products in-store and on the placide.com website is the object of no guarantee and Outillage Placide Mathieu assumes no responsibility in case of a break in stocks. We reserve the right to limit available quantities.

Pricing policy

Prices on the placide.com website are shown in Canadian dollars. We reserve the right to modify prices and correct errors at any time and without notice. Prices shown do not include taxes nor handling and shipping fees.

Taxes

Current taxation rates are applicable on each product, except gift certificates. The amounts and the tax numbers are shown on your invoice.

Liquidation

Products sold in liquidation are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable.

Rentention of property

All merchandise sold and described on the invoices remains the property of Outillage Placide Mathieu until full payment. Consequently, this merchandise cannot be sold or seized in case of bankruptcy or closing of your business. If so, we reserve the right to repossess this merchandise without notice.

Special orders

For special merchandise order from our suppliers, no modification or cancellation of any kind is allowed. A 20% deposit is asked for any special orders.

Quote

Prices submitted in a quote are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the quote.
